   about

With 13 years PR and events experience in the publishing industry, I have worked on a broad range of projects, from big brands to launching debuts and promoting established authors and illustrators.

I have always been incredibly passionate about events and, with exceptional author and client care and a wide network of contacts, I pride myself on delivering bespoke, well organised events, and tours that ensure an artist’s book or brand reaches the widest possible audience through attendance and supporting PR activity. I love nothing more than bringing an author, illustrator or entertainer to an audience of their biggest fans, introducing them to new ones, and seeing the positive impact this can have for both the reader and artist.

I have worked on a host of successful brands, authors and illustrators, including David Almond, Enid Blyton, Pamela Butchart, Ally Carter, Cressida Cowell, Dame Jessica Ennis Hill, Frank Lampard, Robert Muchamore, Francesca Simon, Alex T. Smith, Matthew Syed, Piers Torday, Rainbow Magic, Beast Quest and spent 6 years managing all communications for Enid Blyton Entertainment.

“I've worked with Victoria for many years. It has been a real pleasure. She's well-organised, hard-working, attentive and has been a great support to my work.”

- David Almond, multi-award winning author of Skellig

I am an outgoing, dynamic and well-connected PR professional, specialising in event management.

Everything I do is bespoke to the project and client and I will work closely with both an in-house team and artist to deliver the best event or tour possible.

Whether you’re an author/illustrator, an organisation, or a publisher – you name it, I will plan it:

  • NATIONAL AND REGIONAL TOURS – taking artists out on the road to do talks and signings in schools, libraries, bookshops and at festivals and conferences

  • LARGE-SCALE EVENTS, LAUNCHES AND CELEBRATIONS – everything from venue and supplier sourcing to RSVP list and on-the-day event management

  • PR SUPPORT - additional event related PR support, helping to maximise the reach of events in the media

  • EVENT STAFFING - whether it's to cover a tour or event I have organised or an extra pair of hands at festivals and during a busy period, I am ready to step in and help with whatever is needed

  • ONGOING EVENT MANAGEMENT – point of contact to manage requests, event logistics and rolling diary of events for artists

  • BOOK AN AUTHOR - event booking service for schools, libraries, bookshops and festivals, representing a host of incredible authors and illustrators. Find out more.
